Chitwan reports another dengue fatality

CHITWAN: A 41-year-old man from Chanauli, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-20, has died from dengue fever, marking another fatality in the district.

The man, who had been receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, passed away on Tuesday.

He initially sought medical care on Friday due to a fever and was admitted with ventilator support.

Dr. Kalyan Sapkota, a senior physician at the hospital, reported that the patient had a severe case of dengue, leading to multi-organ failure and excessive internal bleeding.

This death follows that of a 63-year-old man from Bharatpur-2, who died from dengue fever at Chitwan Medical College on Saturday.
