Aims to assess public transport conditions and address commuter challenges

KATHMANDU: Lawmakers and central committee members of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have parked their private vehicles at the party office, committing to use public transportation for the next five days.

Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Vice Chairman of the party, along with lawmakers Shishir Khanal and Ganesh Pandey, attended a party event in Tanahu on Sunday, traveling there via public transport.

On Saturday, following the conclusion of the party’s closed camp, all participating leaders and lawmakers returned to their homes using public transportation, as reported by Nisha Dangi, the party whip.

In addition, Vice Chair DP Aryal used public transportation to visit Dashrath Stadium on Sunday, where he watched a volleyball game between Nepal and Iran.

This five-day campaign aims to assess the condition of public transportation and the challenges faced by the general public, according to Aryal.

The campaign is set to conclude on Wednesday.
