Gold price surges Rs 9,300 per tola in domestic market



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has surged sharply in the Nepali market, increasing by Rs 9,300 per tola in a single day.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, gold is being traded at Rs 313,400 per tola today, up from Rs 304,100 per tola on Wednesday.

The price of silver has also risen significantly. The federation said silver has increased by Rs 260 per tola to Rs 4,855 today. It was traded at Rs 4,595 per tola on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold is currently trading at around $4,512 per ounce, while the price of silver stands at approximately $67 per ounce, according to international media reports.
