Man injured in tiger attack

CHITWAN: A 60-year-old Pashupati Shrestha of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-2 Beltadi was injured in a tiger attack.

During the morning walk, he was attacked by a tiger.

Chief District Officer Indradev Yadav said that he was attacked by a tiger while he was walking on the banks of the Narayani River in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 this morning.

Shrestha, who was injured in the attack, is being treated at Chitwan Medical College.

CDO Yadav informed that several injuries were witnessed on Shrestha’s mouth and hands and his condition is stable.

According to Yadav, a team has been mobilized from the District Forest Office to search for the tiger.
