KATHMANDU: The Flood Forecasting Division has issued a warning for 19 districts across the country, including Kathmandu, the central capital, indicating a risk of flooding.

The Division has forecasted an increase in river flow in several regions, including Ilam, Jhapa, Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Sindhupalchowk, Sindhuli, Kavrepalanchowk, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Makwanpur, Gorkha, Lamjung, Kaski, Myagdi, Darchula, Bajhang, and surrounding areas.

The Division has urged residents in these riverine areas to exercise caution.
