Light rain and thunderstorms expected in various regions tonight



KATHMANDU: As per the latest weather forecast, parts of the country are expected to experience varying weather conditions over the next 24 hours.

Today, the weather is anticipated to be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas, while partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions are expected in the rest of the country.

There is a likelihood of light rain or thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly regions of Karnali Province, and at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province.

Additionally, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions.

Tonight’s weather forecast indicates partly to generally cloudy conditions in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province.

In contrast, partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions are expected in the rest of the country.

Light rain or thunder and lightning are likely to occur at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, and Karnali Province.

Moreover, there remains a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, and Karnali Province.
