Country will see turmoil as long as I am alive: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has forewarned that the country will continue to experience unrest as long as he is alive.

Addressing a gathering organized by Shahid Pratishthan Nepal in Kathmandu on Monday, PM Dahal emphasized that turmoil will persist throughout the nation as long as he is alive.

“Until I draw my last breath, the country will remain in a state of turmoil,” he stated.

In expressing this sentiment, he aimed to portray himself as a forward-thinking and progressive leader.

PM Dahal also expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs, stating that the order was disrupted on the day of the event.

Moreover, he asserted that the Maoist Center cannot thrive on continuity alone.

“Maoists cannot attain stability through uninterrupted existence. We are a force that disrupts the existing order and forges a new path,” he asserted.

Additionally, he also characterized the Maoist Center party as the backbone of the Nepali nation and its people.

“It sometimes surprises me that my associates fail to comprehend. We Maoists are the backbone of the nation and its people, not beholden to anyone else,” he remarked.
