Pariyar missing in Dharche landslide found dead



GORKHA: A person who went missing in a landslide at Dharche Rural Municipality-5 in northern Gorkha has been found dead after a week.

The body of Ramesh Pariyar, 24, from Arughat Rural Municipality-6, was discovered today, according to Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, Information Officer of the District Police Office.

The tractor driver had been missing since the landslide occurred on July 28.

His body was found two kilometers away from the incident site.

Earlier, the bodies of five others who had gone missing in the landslide were recovered.

They were identified as Sulal Kanchha, 70; Jit Bahadur Gurung, 37; Resham Gurung, 33; and Kanchhi Gurung, 35.
