PM Dahal prioritizes job creation and increased production through agricultural development



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ emphasized the government’s dedication to boosting job creation and production by focusing on the development of the agricultural sector.

During the inauguration of Dudhauli Town Hospital in Sirthauli of Dudhauli municipality, Sindhuli district, PM Dahal highlighted the special emphasis placed on agriculture-based industries.

The 15-bed hospital, constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 180 million, was inaugurated by PM Dahal, who expressed the government’s commitment to reviving sick industries to generate employment.

He informed that he had instructed relevant ministries and departments to revive defunct state-owned industries.

PM Dahal reiterated the prioritization of the mechanization of the agricultural sector and increased agricultural production during his official visits to India and China.

He noted that both neighboring countries had expressed their commitment to supporting these initiatives. The government, with a clear vision of ensuring good governance, social justice, and prosperity, has increased people’s hope and trust through people-centric initiatives, claimed the PM.

“The incumbent government has given special priority to health and education, taking important steps towards good governance. Public service delivery has been streamlined, eliminating hassles for the public,” PM Dahal said.

He highlighted raising climate change issues in bilateral and multilateral forums, appealing to the international community to address the impact of climate change faced by mountainous countries like Nepal.

PM Dahal assured initiatives to equip Dudhauli Municipal Hospital with the necessary equipment, skilled human resources, and staff.

Addressing the need for a federal democratic republic, PM Dahal emphasized the importance of securing the welfare of grassroots people for the institutionalization of the republic.

Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Shaligram Jammakattel, pledged appropriate support from the provincial government for the hospital’s development.
