No immediate resignation expected from PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will resign from his post only after the coalition government members withdraw their support.

According to a member of Prime Minister Dahal’s secretariat, he will decide whether to resign or seek a vote of confidence within 30 days, contingent on the coalition members’ withdrawal of support.

The secretariat also clarified that there is no need for the PM to resign unless the coalition members formally withdraw their backing.
