KATHMANDU: The first trading day of the week, Sunday, saw a rise of 13.51 points in the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index.
Today, the NEPSE index has reached 2,083 points, marking an increase of 0.65 percent.
In today’s trading, the share prices of 174 companies have increased, while those of 61 companies have decreased.
A total of 9,697,000 shares of 325 companies were traded in transactions totaling over Rs 4.31 billion 654,540,000.
Today, the highest trading volume was observed in Nepal Finance with Rs 226,400,000, followed by Pokhara Finance with Rs 187,000,000 and First Microfinance with Rs 140,700,000.
The investors in Multipurpose Finance and Makar Jitumaya Hydropower earned returns at a rate of 10 percent on Sunday.
