KATHMANDU: The Pokhara Regional International Airport, which experienced temporary closure over the past few days due to low visibility issues, has resumed its services as of this morning.

According to Dipendra Kumar Karna from Buddha Air’s information office, the airport reopened after visibility conditions improved.

Over the past four days, flight operations were entirely suspended for two days, while flights operated partially on the remaining two days.

The low visibility was attributed to incidents of forest fires near the airport and the presence of haze in the area.

However, with improved weather conditions this morning, air services have been restored.

Passengers who held flight tickets during the period of closure opted to travel by road as an alternative means of transportation.
