Bus and truck collision in Nawalparasi leaves 15 injured



KATHMANDU: A harrowing collision between a truck and a passenger bus on the East-West Highway at Sunwala in West Nawalparasi has resulted in 15 individuals sustaining injuries.

On Thursday night, the bus with registration number Su Pa Pra 01=001 Kha 3480, bound for Bajura, collided with a truck bearing license plate Lu 2 Kha 1696, heading from Butwal to Sunwala at Sunwala-4, according to District Police Office’s DSP Ramesh Bohara.

Among the injured, nine are currently receiving medical treatment. Notably, one person is in critical condition, and six others have been discharged after initial treatment.
