Two motorcyclists die in accident



KAILALI: Two motorcyclists died in an accident that occurred after the vehicles they were riding hit each other last night.

A motorcycle (Se 6 Pa 6279) heading to the east from the west hit another (Ba 95 Pa 9252) coming from the opposite direction at Gopka of Gauriganga municipality-1 along the east-west highway, where both drivers lost lives.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Kabindra Singh Bohara, informed that the dead ones were Nirmal Chaudhari, 20, from Janaki rural municipality-8 and Chiranjivi Malla, 26, from Shuklaphanta municipality-7 of Kanchanpur district.

Both Chaudhari and Malla, who were injured seriously in the accident, were rushed to a hospital at Dhangadhi, but the doctors declared them dead.

However, Dipak Bohara, 22, pillion rider of the motorcycle with plate number Ba 95 Pa 9252 has been receiving treatment at a local hospital, the police added. Injured Bohara is from Shuklaphanta municipality-7.
