T20: Nepal ‘A’ opts to bat first against Ireland

KATHMANDU: Nepal A has won the toss and elected to bat first against Ireland A at the TU Cricket Ground in the third and final T20 match today.

After losing the toss, Ireland A extended the invitation to Nepal to take to the batting crease.

Today marks a significant opportunity for young cricketer Narayan Joshi as Nepal has chosen to field him, opting to keep Kiran Thaguna on the bench.

With the series already lost, Nepal A aims to salvage pride by avoiding a clean sweep, targeting victory in the final encounter.

Having succumbed to defeat in the previous two matches by 21 runs and 40 runs respectively, Nepal A seeks redemption in this last fixture.
