KATHMANDU: Despite an early setback, Nepal managed to accumulate 82 runs while losing four wickets in the first 10 overs of the match.

In the initial phase, Namibia won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Aasif Sheikh, opening the innings for Nepal, contributed just one run before being dismissed, while captain Rohit Poudel added 10 runs before his departure.

Anil Shah’s contribution of 23 runs and Gulsan Jha’s 26 runs bolstered Nepal’s total.

As the match reached the 10-over mark, Aarif Sheikh and Kushal Malla remained at the crease, aiming to establish a solid partnership.

Nepal’s victory in today’s match is crucial for securing a spot in the series final, following defeats against both Namibia and the Netherlands in the previous encounters.
