Three killed in truck and Tata Sumo collision in Morang



KATHMANDU: A tragic collision between a truck and a Tata Sumo occurred in Bhel Bhari Municipality-3 this morning, resulting in the loss of three lives.

The deceased have been identified as Yadukanta Bhattarai, 52, and Dipa Khanal, 44, both from Kamal Rural Municipality-2 in Jhapa.

Additionally, Krishna Gajurel, 36, from Birtamod-2, the driver of the Tata Sumo, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.

The collision between the truck (Province 1-02-001 Kha 9676) and the Sumo (Me 1 Jha 2856) occurred at approximately 6:30 am.

Furthermore, one other individual sustained critical injuries in the accident.
