DANG: A bus en route from Bardiya to Dang for a picnic met with an accident on Sunday morning.
SP Ram Bahadur KC reported that the bus, registered as Ba 1 Kha 2041 and carrying picnickers, had the accident along the Amelia-Tulsipur section of the Rapti Highway.
The incident occurred around 7 am today.
The passengers were members of the Piparhawa Krishi Krishak Samuha from Bardiya. SP KC informed that approximately 20 people sustained minor injuries in the accident and have already been rescued.”
