ACC U-16 East Zone Cup: Nepal enters Semi-finals, beats Malaysia by 84 runs



KATHMANDU: Nepal reached the semi-finals of ACC U-16 East Zone Cup Cricket tournament undergoing in Bayuemas Oval Cricket Stadium, Malaysia.

After winning both the matches of the group, Nepal reached the last four as the winner.

Nepal defeated Malaysia by 84 runs in the second and final match on Friday. Batting first, Nepal scored 183 runs after losing all wickets in 33-4 overs.

Ashok Dhami of Nepal added 52 runs and Suryansu Koirala added 29 runs.

Malaysia was bundled out for 99 runs in 30.5 overs. Nepal’s Ashok Dhami took 4 wickets with 14 runs. Abhishek Tiwari also took 3 wickets.
