Rs 3.5 million stolen from Mahottari’s NMB Bank

KATHMANDU: There has been a robbery at NMB Bank in Mahottari.

DSP Dilip Kumar Giri of the District Police Office informed that there was a robbery at the branch office of NMB Bank located in Mahottari rural municipality-2 at 12:30 noon on Tuesday.

He said that four unknown persons came and robbed the bank. They also carried weapons.

“Four persons who came with weapons robbed and escaped. We are on the spot to investigate,” he said.

Although DSP Giri said that it was not revealed how much money was stolen, the bank sources claim that more than 3.5 million rupees has been stolen.
