Nepal sees nine new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 28



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of nine new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, two were detected through the RT-PCR method and seven through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 938 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 268 were tested through RT-PCR method and 670 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 28 active cases in the country as seven infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
