NEPSE increases nominally on Wednesday, transaction amount declines



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a nominal growth of 1.02 points to stop at 1919.42 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

This is a 0.05 percent increase in the market.

The transaction amount decreased noticeably today. In the trade of 2539048 shares, there was a transaction worth Rs 81,6219,129 on Wednesday. There was a transaction worth Rs 1.44 billion on Tuesday.

The sub-indices also showed mixed results on Wednesday. On Wednesday, share prices of Supermai Hydro and Kalinchok Darshan Pvt Ltd rose on positive circuit labels.

The value of securities including Dhaulagiri Microfinance, Swavalamban Microfinance increased significantly.

The value of securities including Khaptad Microfinance, NLG Insurance, and Creative Microfinance decreased the most today.
