Nepal sees 103 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 375



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 103 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 50 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 53 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1925 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 627 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,298 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 375 active cases in the country as 53 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,029 to date.
