NEPSE records double digit decline on Monday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a double-digit decline on Monday, marking the second trading day of the week.

After a 47.75 point surge on Sunday, the stock market closed down by 11.27 points on Monday, reaching 1896.67 points.

Trading involved 5,996,706 shares from 290 companies, executed through 52,209 transactions, with a turnover amounting to 1.74 billion rupees.

Among the companies, 61 saw an increase in share price, while 172 experienced a decline, and 6 remained stable.
