Journalist Deependra Dong passes away



KATHMANDU: Working journalist Deependra Dong has passed away. He was 44 years old.

Group editor of Janata Broadcasting and Publication Ltd, Dong died on March 25 in course of treatment. He was also the station manager of Radio Janata.

Dong was admitted to the Mediciti Hospital after suffering from brain hemorrhage two weeks back.

Dong was the general secretary of International Network for Nepali Journalists (INNJA) Asia. He was also a concept developer and script writer of several Tamang language films. He is survived by a spouse, a son and a daughter.

His last rites were performed as per the Tamang rituals and tradition near Bhagawanpau, Swayambhu today.
