Acupuncture service started in Mugu



MUGU: The Ayurved Health Centre Mugu has started providing acupuncture service.

This service was available only at Karnali Province Ayurved Hospital and Research Centre and not in other ayurved health centres before this in the province.

Centre chief Laxmi Prasad Pandey said the District Ayurved Health Centre Mugu is the first institution to start acupuncture service among the district ayurved health centres of the province.

He said acupuncture service will be provided for free to the patients of orthopedic and neurological diseases. The service can be given to four to five persons at one time, it is said.

Patients who were compelled to go to Kathmandu, Nepalgunj and Surkhet or other districts for availing acupuncture service before, will surely be advantaged by the service, Hari Shahi, a beneficiary from Soru Rural Municipality said, adding, “The Ayurved Health Centre Mugu should make the service regular.”
