Prasai-led campaign scheduled in Bhaktapur put off until further notice, cultural programs in Kathmandu today

KATHMANDU: The ‘Nation, Nationality, Religion-Culture, and Citizen Rescue Campaign,’ led by medical practitioner and activist Durga Prasai, scheduled for this afternoon in Bhaktapur, has been deferred until further notice.

In a press statement, the organizers conveyed that the central committee, in a meeting, decided to postpone the campaign in Bhaktapur that was originally slated for November 26.

During an address to the gathering at Sifal on Saturday, Prasai had declared that the campaign would continue in Sallaghari to raise awareness among Bhaktapur residents on Sunday and Basantapur on Monday.

Additionally, the organizers have announced that cultural programs, as part of the campaign, will still take place in Kalanki Chowk, BG Mall at Balaju, and Ratnapark today.
