KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and National Assembly (NA) Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss contemporary issues including proroguing the winter session of the parliament.

During the meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, the upper house Chair also briefed the head-of-the-government of his recent visit to Russia at the invitation of the Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matvienko.

On the occasion, discussions were held on endorsing the Bill relating to the Constitutional Council and proroguing the House session soon, according to the NA Chair’s Secretariat.
