JSP calls Central Executive Committee meeting

KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), a partner of the ruling coalition, has convened a Central Executive Committee meeting to discuss pivotal issues shaping its political trajectory.

Scheduled for December 26 at the party’s headquarters in Balkumari, the meeting’s primary agenda revolves around the critical selection of a candidate for the upcoming National Assembly membership.

This decision carries substantial weight, influencing the party’s future direction and its standing within the broader political landscape.

In addition to the National Assembly candidate selection, the meeting aims to deliberate on the upcoming political committee session scheduled for January 10, 2024, in Kathmandu.

It will serve as a forum to address key considerations and preparations necessary for the central committee meeting, set to commence on January 12, 2024.

Party sources indicate that the meeting will also emphasize the equitable distribution of responsibilities among members of the party’s central committee.

This strategic focus underscores the party’s commitment to effective governance and collaboration among its leadership.

The outcomes of this Central Executive Committee meeting are anticipated to significantly impact the party’s course in the evolving political landscape, making it a crucial juncture for the Janata Samajwadi Party.
