Shahi Yuva Shakti Chairman and four others arrested from Tinkune



KATHMANDU: In a recent development, five individuals, including Pashupati Khadka, Chairman of Shahi Yuva Shakti, were arrested from Tinkune, Kathmandu, on Friday.

The arrests occurred as the group attempted staging demonstration as a part of the ‘Nation, Nationality, Religion-Culture, and Citizen Rescue Campaign’ led by Durga Prasai this morning.

According to SP Kumod Dungel at the District Police Range, Kathmandu,  Chairman Pashupati Khadka, Manendra Raj Bhandari, Avash Khadka, and Anup Shahi were arrested from Tinkune.

These individuals were present at Tinkune to partake in a demonstration despite a prior warning from the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, citing the lack of official permission for such activities.
