Fraudster arrested for swindling millions, promising USA employment



KATHMANDU: The police have arrested a 28-year-old man allegedly involved in fraudulent activities promising to send people USA for foreign employment.

The Kathmandu Police apprehended Sujan Adhikari, a 28-year-old resident of Lamjung, on charges of duping Numa KC with the false promise of arranging foreign employment in America.

Adhikari, currently residing in Banasthali Dhungedhara, Kathmandu, allegedly extracted a total of two million rupees from KC before cutting off all contact.

After an extensive search operation, the police successfully apprehended Adhikari in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, Sohrakhutte.

He has been taken into custody and handed over to the Foreign Employment Department in Tahachal, Kathmandu, for further investigation and necessary legal action.
