Nepal sets 168 run target against Netherlands



KATHMANDU: Nepal has set a target of 168 runs to the Netherlands in the ICC ODI World Cup Qualifiers undergoing in Zimbabwe.

Nepal, who lost the toss and were invited to bat at the Takashinga Cricket Sports Club in Zimbabwe, were all out for 167 runs in 43.3 overs.

In which captain Rohit Paudel contributed 33 runs, Sandeep Lamichhane 27, Kushal Bhurtel 27, and Bhim Sarki contributed 22 runs.

Logan Van Beek of the Netherlands took 4 wickets and Bass de Leede and Bikramjit Singh took two wickets each.

Nepal is going to compete against the Netherlands in the last match of its group stage.

Defeated in two matches and won in one match, Nepal will be under more pressure after defeating the Netherlands to reach the Super Six.

If they fail to beat the Netherlands, Nepal will be defeated in three matches and will be eliminated from the group stage.
