Nepal sees 113 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 362



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 113 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Of the confirmed cases, 64 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 49 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,810 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 766 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,044 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 362 active cases in the country as 72 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,027 to date.
