Nepal sees 78 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 370



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 81 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Of the confirmed cases, 41 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 40 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,306 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 370 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 936 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 370 active cases in the country as 54 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,027 to date.
