Export promotion, government priority: Finance Minister Poudel

KATHAMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Poudel, has said export promotion is the priority of the government.

During his meeting with a delegation from the Federation of Export Entrepreneurs Nepal today, the Minister said the government was positive towards the demand to organize an international-level business fair in Nepal for the export promotion. A necessary decision will be taken after consulting with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, he assured.

In the meeting, the delegation led by Federation President Ram Bahadur Gurung proposed the government to host a business fair of international-level in Nepal. Gurung said hosting the event would help promote Nepali products in international market.
