Four earthquakes hit Dhading (update)



KATHMANDU: Four tremors were felt in Dhading within three hours on Sunday morning.

The National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center said that an earthquake of 6.1 magnitude occurred on Sunday morning in Dhading, Jamalukhi-5 Khari.

The earthquake was felt not only in districts around Kathmandu but also in Chitwan and Parbat.

According to the Center, the tremor was a continuation of the aftershock of the earthquake that occurred in the 2015 earthquake with its epicenter at Barpak in Gorkha district.

Meanwhile, there were no human casualties due to the earthquake.
