U-19 World Cup Cricket: Nepal’s first match against New Zealand

KATHMANDU: Nepal is scheduled to play New Zealand in the first match of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

This match will be held on January 13, 2024.

In the second match, Nepal will play against Pakistan on January 17. Likewise, Nepal will play the last match of the group stage against Afghanistan on January 20.

The World Cup will be held in Sri Lanka from January 13 to February 4, 2024. 16 countries will participate in the Under-19 World Cup. The 16 participating countries are divided into four groups.

Group ‘D’ consists of Nepal, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Former champions India are in Group ‘A’. This group includes India, Bangladesh, Ireland, and America.

Similarly, England, South Africa, West Indies, and Scotland are in Group ‘B’. Group ‘C’ consists of Australia, and host Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
