Bhanu Municipality supports Jajarkot quake survivors



DAMAULI: Bhanu Municipality in Tanahu district has provided monetary assistance to the survivors of the Jajarkot earthquake.

The municipality extended Rs 105,000 to the quake survivors. Anand Raj Tripathi, the Mayor of Bhanu Municipality, reached Jajarkot and handed over the assistance to the Chief District Officer there.

Tripathi stated that the local level extended support at this time of crisis from its disaster management fund.

A team from the municipality led by Mayor Tripathi reached Jajarkot to hand over the money.

The team also extended condolences to the family of the Deputy Mayor of Nalgad Municipality, Sarita Singh, who lost her life in the earthquake.
