Lalita Niwas land scam: 18 arrested ones to stay in custody for three more days

KATHMANDU: The District Court Kathmandu has given permission to the police to keep those arrested in connection with the Lalita Niwas land scam in custody for three more days.

Judge of the District Court Kathmandu, Deepak Dhakal, on Monday gave permission to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police to keep 18 people including the owner of Bhatbhateni Supermarket Min Bahadur Gurung in custody for three more days, said Information Officer of the District Court, Deepak Dahal.

Earlier on August 16, their custody was extended by five days.
