Nepal sees 106 new coronavirus cases, one death in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 106 new cases of coronavirus and one death in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 64 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 42 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,883 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 581 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,302 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 414 active cases in the country as 46 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

One coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and with this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country climbed to 12,026 to date.
