Weather improves, regular flights resume nationwide



KATHMANDU: With an improvement in the weather, all domestic and international flights have resumed from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Most of the flights were affected on Friday due to poor visibility and the some international flights were diverted.

Some of the domestic flights were also affected and diverted on Friday.

According to the TIA officials, all flights from the TIA are regular from early morning today.

Likewise, flights are scheduled to take place in some airports out of Kathmandu as the weather is comparatively clear today.

Visibility at the TIA is fair today, it is said.

Likewise, the Weather Forecasting Division has stated that the weather will be generally to partly cloudy in the mountainous and hilly belts Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces today.

Likewise, chances of slight snowfall are likely in one or two places in the mountainous regions of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, the Division said.
