KATHMANDU: The Province 1 Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has assigned ministries to the newly appointed ministers.
Chief Minister Karki recommended to the Province Chief, Parshuram Khapung, for the portfolio division of the cabinet members after a meeting of the Council of Ministers held Friday.
As per the portfolio division, Chief Minister Karki takes charge of Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law.
Likewise, Minister Til Kumar Meyangbo Limbu is assigned for Ministry of Drinking Water, Irrigation and Energy, Minister Durga Prasad Chapagain for Ministry of Road Infrastructure and Urban Development and Bhakti Prasad Sitaula as the Minister for Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives.
Similarly, Jiban Acharya is Minister for Tourism, Forest and Environment, Minister Buddhi Kumar Rajbhandari as Social Development and Health Ministry to Nirmala Limbu.
