RSP’s Magar registers nomination for HoR Deputy Speaker



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has fielded Indira Rana Magar as its candidate for Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Indira Rana Magar, RSP parliamentarian, registered her candidacy for the Deputy Speaker on behalf of the ruling coalition.

She registered her candidacy at the Federal Parliament Secretariat on Friday afternoon.

RSP’s Sobita Gautam supported her candidacy as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The ruling coalition includes CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janta Samajwadi Party, Janamat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party.

The election of the Deputy Speaker will be held in the House of Representatives meeting on Saturday.

The RSP, on Friday morning, decided to field Indira Rana Magar as its candidate for Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

It should be noted that Devraj Ghimire of CPN-UML has been elected as the Speaker on behalf of the ruling coalition on Thursday.
