KATHMANDU: The government has decided to give a discount on the electricity tariff for irrigation purposes.
Presenting the government’s policies and programs for the next fiscal year 2080-81 BS, President Ram Chandra Paudel said that the electricity tariff required for irrigation will be given a discount so that irrigation facilities can be reached easily.
Similarly, the government has also decided to make necessary arrangements for small water pumps.
The government has also decided to construct greenhouses at each local level in order to protect the produce of the farmers.
