KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that marketing of domestic products is a crucial need of the hour.
The Finance Minister said that the ministry was already ready to cooperate with the private sector for the marketing of the small and cottage industries’ products.
Saying that the fairs and exhibitions help in the publicity approach of the domestic goods, Poudel said such fairs would be also fruitful in employment generation and modernization of agricultural goods.
The 16th edition of the International Industrial Trade Fair organized by the Federation concluded in Kathmandu on Saturday that welcomed some 250,000 visitors and businesses of around Rs 50 million.
