Time to operate Muglin-Narayangadh road partially extended

The duration for earth-cutting under Narayangadh-Muglin road widening project has been extended by a month. The earth-cutting for the road widening is being carried out by halting the vehicular traffic from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. This schedule has been in force since December 20 for 30 days. Now, it has been decided to close the traffic from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm beginning Thursday to continue with the earth-cutting works.

Sri Lankan minister treated unfairly at TIA

The Sri Lankan Embassy in Kathmandu has objected to the fact that a sitting Minister of Sri Lanka was barred from entering the VIP room of the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. The Embassy staffers who reached the airport to receive the Sri Lankan delegates were disappointed since the Sri Lankan Minister was not allowed to enter the special room even after notifying the airport authority in advance.
