According to sources, Bharat Shah from Tikapur Municipality, has tragically lost his life in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, marking the seventh casualty among Nepali nationals in the ongoing conflict.

Bharat’s demise, reported a few days ago, plunged his family into deep sorrow as they mourned the loss. In a heartfelt tribute, Bharat’s family fashioned a symbolic body using Kush grass and conducted his cremation rituals on Sunday.

According to Bharat’s elder brother, Birkha, Roshan Thapa, Bharat’s fellow soldier, relayed the news that Bharat was fatally shot on November 26. “Thapa shared the heartbreaking information with his wife,” Birkha revealed.

He is survived by his wife, daughter, and son, mourning the unexpected loss.
