KATHMANDU: Sita Sapkota has been elected the Chairperson of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordination Council (NCC) Belgium.
In the election held on Sunday, Sapkota along with Anuja Pradhan and Tirtha Dhamala were in the race for the leadership position.
Sapkota secured 1,112 votes to get elected to the post for the next tenure (2023-2025), NRNA sources informed.
Sapkota had already served as the President of Nepali Janasamparka Samiti, Belgium chapter.
She is also a Mahasamiti member of the Nepali Congress.
