Nepal sees 99 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 377

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 104 new cases of coronavirus and one COVID related death in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 63 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  41 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,632 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 571 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 1,061 through the Antigen method.

There are 379 active cases in Nepal as 60 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

One coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,023 to date.
