Biratnagar metropolis installs CC camera in parking site



BIRATNAGAR: Biratnagar metropolis has installed ‘CC camera’ to manage its parking sites.

The measure was taken to manage and secure parking space in Biratnagar, the metropolis sources said.

The business community has been calling for the security and management of parking spaces in Biratnagar.

Biratnagar mayor Nagesh Koirala shared vehicle parking would be prohibited on the road from now onward to ensure road and management.

The control room of CC camera would remain at the District Police Office and Metropolis city police office.

Biratnagar police in-charge Rajan Poudel informed that placing and leveling gravels in parking sites, installing lamps and laying slabs over the canal reaching parking space along the installing CC camera have been so far completed.

The metropolis has designated several places, including space in the east of Jaljala Chowk and backyard of Green Cross Hospital for parking.

There was no trouble in parking site, shared Chief Administrative Officer of Biratnagar, Bishnu Prasad Koirala.

The metropolis executive has decided to prohibit parking vehicles in the areas from the Shani Temple to Hospital Chowk, Jaljalachowk to Sansarimaisthan via Traffic Chowk, Mahabir Road, Gudri Road, Shani Temple to Mahabir Road, College Road and Himalaya Road.

Mayor Koirala urged all to lend support in the campaign to make Biratnagar clean, beautiful, bright and well-managed.
